Spaghetti Bench by Pablo Reinoso

The Spaghetti Bench successfully makes wood look as flexible and moldable as pasta. The piece was by Pablo Reinoso, an artist with the Carpenters Workshop Gallery out of London. The Spaghetti Bench which takes an ordinary piece of furniture and deconstructs the straight lines of both the seat and the back into organic, free-flowing forms that topple down into a pile and then grow up the side of the wall like a vine.

Another bench by Pablo Reinoso is the Aluminum Bench which manipulates the back and seat. It looks like ripples in water, especially with the shininess of the aluminum and the highlights and shadows caused by the movement of the lines.
