Toronto Waterfront, under construction

The West 8 design for the Toronto Waterfront is under construction and I am totally in love with the sexy, curvacious lines of the wooden wave decks. Yeah sure, the maple leaf from the original design is a little odd, either from the air or a person’s view, but the rest of the design is pretty sweet and these pictures show just how much…and they aren’t even done yet. These construction images are of the Simcoe slip.

There doesn’t seem to be many images floating around regarding the waterfront construction just yet and this was all I could dig up from flickr but thanks to landskippy for shooting these! I can’t wait till more images start popping up…especially when people start using these. I am really curious to see how people react to the luscious undulations.
