Absolutely, it's always great to see awareness being raised about these dead spaces that have the potential for being useful and productive, something more pleasant in the urban landscape....and more safe.

I liked how you contacted the Cameo Condos developer about their space. The more examples that start popping up around the nation of creative ways to temporarily enliven these spaces, and even make some money doing it, the more developers will be willing work with people on it. Keep it up!

You know, Twitter is a funny thing but more than anything I don't like the idea of technology overtaking me so I figured I'd better get over my hatred for it and go with the flow. Like you, I think it's going ok so far although I'm sure I'm breaking twitter etiquette left and right without even knowing it but whatever, people shouldn't be so sensitive anyway ;-)

hey lisa, thanks for the shout-out! i like to see that you also had reservations about twitter: i signed up because i thought it would/could be powerful, but couldn't shake the feeling that it was -- i don't know -- a little silly. now here i am, a few weeks later, thinking it's okay.

anyway, nice to "meet" you and thanks for the links. i'll return the favor.
