Russian artist Francisco Infante-Arana has a love for the reflective and in working with the surrounding natural beauty to create fascinating optical illusions. The mirrors appear to be floating in mid air and breaking up the view, borrowing from the landscape to create to imagery.

Other interesting installations use what appears to be tin foil wrapped around branches to create interesting shapes within the natural landscape, moving from color to grayscale, dull to shiny.

Interesting – there are quite a few artists putting mirrors in the landscape (some more examples are here).

Indeed there are, good link! The landscape is a lovely muse :-) An installation I particularly enjoy as well that is along these lines is the Réflexions Suspendues from the 2008 and 2009 installation by Sospese Riflessioni at the Jardins de Métis in Quebec. It is quite interesting and makes me think of a really large spider web with dew drops on it, reflecting the surrounding landscape.
